Cardboard Car

Logan's Class was assigned to make a cardboard car. A couple of months ago. It's due today. He finished it last night at 11:00pm. Just like his Mom, put it off until the last possible minute. Only carboard, glue and a wooden dowel can be used in the construction. And it has to be able to hold 100lbs. Luckily, he was able to work on it at the Colebeck's while Scott worked on his car. (No mess in my gargage and patio) Thank you Colebecks!!! Today are the races at school. The car is put on a ramp and judged by distance and time while the rider is inside, wearing a helmet of course. Scott's car is a fish, nice blues and greens. I asked Logan (reluctantly) what his car was. More specifically what the red paint was all about. He said it was a race car that hit someone. Why did I have to ask. What in the world is that all about?? I'm not sure I want to know. But he did a good job on the construction and hopefully will receive a good grade, since it's worth ALOT of points. I'm glad I didn't have to build a cardboard car in High School. But if I did, it would have been a cat. I loved cats then.

wow, good job, Logan. I couldn't have done that. I'm a last minute person, too, unfortunately. A few of my children have inherited that unwanted gene.

That is the coolest school project I have ever heard of. How did he do in the race?
