Strange Night

So I had a strange night the other night. As we were getting ready for bed we heard a car or truck outside our bedroom on the other side of the wall. We have heard this vehicle before late at night, so I went out by the pool to investigate. I saw that it was a Van and it would back up and then drive away and a little later come back and park along the street with it's engine running and then do the same thing all over again. Up to no good I tell ya.
So the husband said I should call the Police and see if they have a car in the neighborhood to come check it out. I did exactly that. But knowing I wouldn't be able to go to sleep wondering if there was a drug bust or something going on just outside my window, I decided to keep watch out the front window for that trusty squad car. It never came. I wanted to get a closer look, so I put on my robe and tip toed outside. By this time the Van had left again and now there was a small car with some loud occupants, one of which was a caucasion male leaning against the car focusing deeply on his cell phone. One or more females were inside the small car. I stood on my side of the wall for a long time, waiting for something to happen.
While I was waiting I saw the biggest, coolest looking falling star I've ever seen in my entire life. I just knew it was going to hit my neighbor's house, but it didn't. Then, while I was still waiting, a confused bird started singing the prettiest song I've ever heard a bird sing in my entire life. What kind of bird sings loudly at 11:30 pm? It was kind of cool. After more waiting and yawning, I asked myself what I was waiting for and what in the world I was doing outside in my robe listening over the wall? I couldn't come up with a good answer so I gave up and went to bed. Who knew so many strange things happen at night? The husband missed out. And I think I've become Mrs. Kravitz.

I don't think very many people remember Mrs. Kravitz, and I had forgotton about her til reading her name. That is funny. Maybe you should go outside at night more often. What about Amanda? Did she get home OK and what about her trip to Calif.? Keep us posted.

I have heard that bird too. I love that bird. I love Mrs. Kravitz too. She is cool. Guess that means you are too. I have actually done the same thing. I don't like strange people sitting out side my house. That happened once during the day,I called because they had camera and binoculars. Turns out they were cops on a stake out. Fun stuff.

If you start getting that little recessed chin of hers I will start calling you Mrs. Kravitz. That is so funny. I would've done the same thing. I can be kindof a snoopy neighbor when I feel the need to be.

I think that going and checking out the problem is way cooler than staying inside, scared and wondering what could be happening. You are so brave!
